VNET Integration for an App Service (Create New VNET)

Login to the Azure portal: https://portal.azure.com
Navigate to More Services from the left tile.

In the search input section, type App Services and choose the same.

Select the appropriate App Service from the list. [In this example, it is techsignapp].

Under techsignapp options, navigate to Settings and select.

Under Settings, navigate to Networking and select.

Under VNET Integration, choose Setup.

Note: The applications hosted in either Standard tier or Premium tier are only eligible for the VNET integrations.
Choose Create New Virtual Network.

Provide the details as per the scenario.

  • Virtual Network : <<Name of the VNET>>
  • Virtual Network Address Block : <<CIDR block for the VNET>>
  • Subnet Name : <<Name of the Subnet>>
  • Subnet Address Block : <<CIDR block for the Subnet>>
  • Gateway Subnet Address Block : <<Gateway CIDR block>>
  • Point-to-Site Address Block : <<Point-to-site Address Block>>

Select OK to commit the changes.
Note: It will take near to 30 – 40 min for Azure VNET gateway creation.
Check the Notifications bar for the status.

Once the VNET is created, back to the VNET Integration page and choose Setup.

From the list, choose the Virtual Network.

Check the Notifications bar for the status.

Once the status gets completed, go back to the VNET integration page to verify.
